When considering what type of home to buy, or what style of home to build, sometimes it’s a good idea to compare to what is common in the marketplace. The US Census Bureau puts out a report every year that highlights some of the characteristics that homes carry for a respective year.

Did you know that the average home size in 2014 was 2,453 square foot? Or that almost 45% of homes had 4 bedrooms or more?
